Craftsmanship & Repair Guarantee
At Screen Express, we stand behind every job we complete. All screen repairs and installations come with a 1-year workmanship guarantee from the date of service — at no extra charge.
What is covered
- Defects arising from faulty installation — misaligned frames, loose spline, uneven mesh tension.
- Screen doors that do not latch, track, or close properly due to installation error.
- Rollers, tracks, or hardware that fail within the first year when installed by us.
- Any repair that does not hold up under normal use within the guarantee period.
What is not covered
- Damage from pets, accidents, storms, or normal wear and tear.
- Defects in materials supplied by the customer.
- Modifications or repairs performed by a third party after our service.
- Manufacturer product defects (covered separately under product warranty).
How to make a claim
- Contact us with a brief description of the issue and your service date or invoice number.
- We will schedule a free inspection — typically within 2 business days.
- If the issue is covered, we repair or correct it at no charge to you.
Mirage Retractable & Motorized Screen Warranty
Screen Express is an authorized installer of Mirage Screen Systems products. All Mirage retractable screens and motorized screens installed by Screen Express are backed by Mirage's manufacturer warranty in addition to our workmanship guarantee above. The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser for residential use only.

What Mirage covers
- Powder coat on aluminum components free from defects.
- Workmanship of the retracting mechanism (spring operation).
- Workmanship of factory-assembled components.
- Manufacturing defects in handles or magnetic latches.
What Mirage does not cover
- Installation — installation warranty is provided exclusively by the dealer (Screen Express).
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or accidents.
- Normal wear and tear, including fading or UV discoloration.
- Damage caused by pets, pests, or weather events (windstorms, hail).
- Screens installed in commercial or rental properties (unless otherwise specified).
- Modifications or repairs made by unauthorized personnel.
- Labour costs for travel, removal, adjustment, or reinstallation.
- Shipping costs for warranty service.
Making a Mirage warranty claim
Contact Screen Express directly. As your authorized Mirage dealer, we submit claims on your behalf. Claims require proof of purchase and photos of the issue. Mirage reserves the right to inspect the product before approving a remedy. If the defect is covered, Mirage will repair the defective part or replace the product or component at their discretion.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original residential purchaser only. It is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by Mirage Screen Systems Ltd.
